Local Infrastructure Peterborough is planned to grow by over 25,000 homes and 20,000 jobs over the next 15 or so years. Detailed studies have been undertaken by the City Council to ensure the appropriate infrastructure, such as schools, health centres and other public services, is in place to cope with this expansion. We recognise that it is in our interests also to have sufficient infrastructure in the areas where we operate, both directly for our development and also for the wellbeing of the employees of the various companies who are tenants.

A small number of residents have asked me if the development will have an impact on the value of their homes. I don’t believe that the vast majority of homes in Stanground will be affected, but in order for us to know exactly, we have kept information about the
average value of homes in Stanground as of January 2008 as a benchmark figure. We will use valuers to monitor changes in house prices and compare that to movements in the prices of similar homes in and around Peterborough, the region and nationally.
